By accessing and using The Sleepy Barn website or booking our venue for a wedding or private event, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making any booking or enquiry.
The Sleepy Barn is a private event venue located in Pottsville, NSW, offering venue hire for weddings, milestone celebrations, and corporate events. All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing. A signed agreement and deposit are required to secure your date. Final payments are due as outlined in your individual agreement. We reserve the right to release your booking if payments are not received on time.
Clients are responsible for the conduct of all guests, suppliers, and vendors on-site. All events must comply with our noise curfew, safety rules, and local regulations. Any damages to the property or venue facilities will be invoiced to the booking party. Use of fire pits is permitted only when there is no fire ban in place and must be done responsibly to protect the grounds and future events.
External suppliers are welcome, but must be approved in advance and provide appropriate insurance. Our “Things to Consider” guide outlines footwear recommendations, fire pit rules, transport suggestions, and wet weather planning to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
In case of cancellation, all deposits are non-refundable. Date changes may be accommodated at our discretion, depending on availability. We reserve the right to cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances, extreme weather, or safety concerns, with a full refund of any payments made (excluding non-refundable deposits or third-party costs).
